Malaysia Tin Export

There were 46 tin mines in operation in 1999
 

26 in the state of Perak, 13 in Selangor, 2 in Pahang, 2 in Trengganu, 2 in Johor and 1 in Kedah


Tin Production from Perak and Selangor 59% and 38% from the rest.

Total production for 1999 6,165 or 85 % from tin mines and other methods contributed 1,105 tonnes or 15%


 
 
Malaysian Customs Documentation Submission of Inward and Outward Manifest.

The inward and outward manifests contain all particulars of the goods such as marks, numbers and content of each packages, landed or shipped, names of shippers and consignees name.
 

The inward manifest must be lodged to the customs within a specified time after the arrival of the carrier.

 

 

 

Consular Invoice

This is a form, usually obtainable only from the Consulate of the importing country, on which the exporter or its agent must enter a detailed description of the goods being shipped. Such a form is required by certain countries.
 

On the consular invoice, there is space not only for the name of the goods but also for any marks carried, the number of the items, their weight, the value and origin of the goods and a declaration that the information given is correct.
